12. Mar 2015 - The Fresh Heaven MAXX O air ceiling units for operating rooms from DencoHappel® are laminar air-flow units for pressurized low-turbulence fields, developed exclusively for the strict requirements in operating rooms. This new generation of DencoHappel® ceiling units for operating rooms provides a protecting zone of pure air around the patient during surgery.
To ensure optimal protection for the patient during an operation, the conditioned air is directed in the Fresh Heaven MAXX O through Class H14 micro glass-fiber filters. The air exits the Fresh Heaven vertically downward with low turbulence and thereby forms a protective zone around the operating area. Flow speeds are approx. 0.35 m/s. The following option is available: a differential flow field with increased air speed in the vicinity of the operating lamp.
The modular configuration of the Fresh Heaven MAXX O enables adapting its size and output to each environment individually. The dimensions range between 1.83 x 1.23 m and 3.20 x 3.20 m. The larger models can be broken down into four segments for ease of installation. The units are mounted into a suspended ceiling and are connected to the infrastructure of an air handling unit. The Fresh Heaven MAXX O is resistant to corrosion and can therefore be disinfected with alcohol.
The Fresh Heaven electronically monitors the condition of the HEPA filters and shows their status in a display. As an option, filter clogging is indicated by a red LED. Other options for the Fresh Heaven MAXX O include powerful LED lighting and an air-speed sensor.
