COM4top compact air-handling units: space savers for old and new buildings
The slender compact air-handling unit has been designed for indoor installation and can be taken into buildings through normal-width doors. In addition, if offers top-side connections for air ducts. Its frame structure with panels and doors enables good accessibility and, consequently, simple unit cleaning and maintenance. The pre-configured models leave the production plant with everything expected of an efficient air-handling unit: free-running (plug) directly driven fans with infinitely variably controlled EC motors, energy recovery with double-plate heat exchangers and bypass function, panel filters, and ISYteq control system. The ISYteq control system can regulate operations dependent of duct pressure, air flow, or air quality (with the aid of a CO2-sensor). The control system can be networked, and can be integrated into a building management system. The COM4top is available in five model sizes with air flow from approx. 1,500 to 6,000 m³/h (at 2 m/s air speed in internal cross-section).
