Family of passive laminar / low-turbulent units with unidirectional vertical airflow for installation in suspended ceiling
Fresh Heaven laminar air-flow units (LAF) supply clean air as a low-turbulent and vertical flow into the clean zone. Thus the contamination of sensitive areas and equipment can be held at a minimized level.
Fresh Heaven laminar air-flow unit is an integral part of an operating room. It is designed to supply clean air with a stable vertical flow. Even flow of clean air from a laminar unit prevents secondary contamination of the operating area. Laminar air-flow units provide a very low amount of particles within the working zone, high thermal stability and are resistant to disinfectants.
The Fresh Heaven laminar units are part of the structural arrangement of the suspended ceiling and light ceiling of the clean room.
The unit is divided into two basic groups:
- Y group - laminar air-flow units with side air inlets
- Z group - laminar air-flow units with air inlets from the top
The Fresh Heaven MAXX (FHM) product line represents a new generation of Fresh Heaven pressurized low-turbulence units that combines full filtration with the local air recirculation.
The unit is intended for clean rooms with the highest requirements for uniform vertical air flow in the pharmaceutical industry, in aseptic operating theatres and similar.
The unit is available as:
- Basic (“passive”) FHM version
- MAXX POWER (“active”) version as a recirculating-air unit (see Recirculating-air units).
